Boatbuilding for Teens

All day for six days, teens will be learning, working, playing, building, and generally messing about with wooden boats. Together we will all be working on one boat – a traditional rowboat called a Flatiron Skiff, built mostly of local white pine.  This class runs for 6 consecutive days beginning July 29, 9-5pm and will break for an hour lunch (please pack accordingly). 149 Hurricane Road, Keene. Best suited to teens around the age of 13-16, no experience necessary, just a love of Making.

The finished boat will be kept at Mill Hollow Works’ Shop in Keene, where all the builders will have access to it in the future!
