Carpentry Level II: Layout and Framing will work to get students proficient in a variety of tools and skills as they layout and frame a project. Whether you’re dreaming of building your own tiny home, she-shed, he-shed, they shed, or full-size house or fixing the one you have, this course will help you move forward with those goals through hands-on practice, guided by a professional Carpenter.
This session starts a very special project – a Tiny House for Stonewall Farm!
Students will be working with a framing and speed square, in addition to a variety of hand and power tools. The class project will cover project design and layout, building processes, lumber selection, and framing a small shed and/or deck.
This course includes 8 Thursday evening classes, 6:30-8:30. Students will be working on-location at Stonewall Farm.
