Donni Webber is a South African needle felting artist who teaches how we can incorporate treasures we forage on our nature walks (moss, lichen, twigs, grasses) into our needle felting artwork to make our creations look delightfully authentic. In this class, she guides students through making a hummingbird’s nest using all natural fibers and collected pieces from outside. No prior needle felting experience is required. All wool roving and other materials will be supplied but if you have collected particularly lovely nature bits from outside that you want to include in your nest, feel free to bring them along.
