Congratulations to Lucy Webb! She has won the Mill Hollow Works Jellyfish Boat – look for her out on the water this spring!
Mill Hollow Works is giving away a “Jellyfish” – Built and designed by Professional Boatbuilder and Mill Hollow Works founder Wade Smith, this boat is a beautiful small, light personal canoe-esque type boat – and it’s being raffled off by our new experiential learning center as a way to connect with our community members and promote our Jellyfish building course coming up in April.
Our Jellyfish building class is a fantastic weekend workshop that produces a useable boat in only two days. A class for all age groups, its ideal for adult/child building teams. This boat is small, light and requires no experience in woodworking – the entire boat, built with hand-tools and minimal non-toxic caulking and glue, makes a fantastic first project. In fact, here is Wade building a Jellyfish with 10-year-old Adelle.
Since there can only be one winner in the raffle, we hope you’ll head over to our courses and sign up for the Mill Hollow Works Jellyfish boat building class. By building your own Jellyfish you get a beautiful boat for Springtime fun and you get the experience and pride that comes with creating something with your own hands – that’s what we call a double win!!
Please submit all required information to be entered into the Mill Hollow Works Jellyfish boat raffle. Limit one entry per person. Winner will be announced on this website and notified by phone by or on March 4, 2017. The Jellyfish boat does not include paddles. Receipt of the boat is conditional upon winner signing and returning a waiver and release of liability.
