Suzannah started her journey with Mill Hollow Works in November 2019 by taking our Level 1 Carpentry class. She was a young mom wanting to learn basic wood skills, and after a few classes she wanted to further her involvement + looked at spoon carving books we had out available. After leaving that week with 3 tools and 5 blanks, she came back to the next class with 4 spoons- she quickly was hooked and continued developing her skill.
Hey All, I’m Suzy!
I am so grateful for Mill Hollow and their mission to help aide adult hands-on education. I come from a family deep rooted in south-eastern NH, with generations of farmers, loggers, & maple sugar makers. All of my wood is naturally and locally sourced, normally from trees that have fallen, neighborly gifts, or overgrowth/natural clearing.
